Autodidactic
Adjective: Self-educated without the guidance of masters or institutions.
Example: “When we couldn’t figure something out we went to the autodidactic warehouse worker for help.”
We had a wine tour in Sonoma in this classic VW van. I drove one for years. It was an excellent day of nostalgia, family and good wine.
