“Education has produced a vast population able to read but unable to distinguish what is worth reading.”
The author wrote this in the 1950’s now we have an even vaster population and they mostly can read but don’t bother they watch video instead. So it goes.
The photo is from the front of a Christmas card I received a decade or so ago. My dream car is a classic VW van.
