Simplicity or complexity that is the question. The one liner has already evolved. As I wrote this I substituted simplicity for symmetry. I’m looking for a memorable phrase that points to the tension between complexity and simplicity. There is also the tension between the two as shown in the photo. The iPhone is unfathomably complex below the skin while it attempts to be intuitively simple to the user.
