This is a much quoted and often wrongly attributed saying. There is much truth in it. But now it is Pakistan’s problem.
In this enlisted man’s opinion, the Taliban and al Qaeda we’re not defeated by the USA because of the rules of engagement imposed on our military by our Presidents. This included allowing them a safe haven in Pakistan.
We shall see what happens next. If I were a Ukrainian or a Taiwanese I’d be getting my visas in order and move my family to somewhere safer because President Biden has not shown any resistance to the bad actors yet.
