President Biden, in his first week as President, has moved to restrict domestic oil supply and to piss off the Saudi Arabians by stopping arms sales. I expect this will cause gasoline prices to rise significantly in the next year. I will on occasion take a photo of the prices at my local QT station and publish it. We can call it Joe Biden’s Gas Gauge or Simon’s Prediction Test.

I’ll make the specific prediction that by January 2022 unless President Biden reverses course regular gasoline in Arizona will be over $3.25/gal. Right now it is about $2.25/gal. I hope I’m wrong because this is a very regressive tax hurting the poor most.
