Governor Pio Pico was the Governor of Mexican California. Perhaps migration is not a problem to solve but a condition to manage. I bought 50 of this card and some of you will receive it. To me it is a nice perspective on the issue of immigration. If it makes you angry, upset or confused I apologize.
The card was produced by J Michael Walker an LA Artist and friend of mine. His website has lots of cards and note available for sale. Most are reproductions of his amazing works over a long career in multiple media. It is rare to find something at the intersection of immigration and postcards.
