Corona Virus Adjustments

Fortunately for me the Corona Virus fears have happened during one of the best hiking seasons we have had since moving to Arizona. So I have been spending a lot more days hiking. With “Social Distancing.” This has effected the rest of my schedule so I’m not getting a blog post done every day and I have been sending less postcards. My rhythm has been disrupted. And because the restaurants are closed we have been cooking. Cooking was a lost art in our family. But we are adjusting. Cooking means more dishes and more planning so again my schedule is quite disrupted. And worrying consumes a lot of energy. Good news on the worry front Lilli made it back from Bali with no trouble.

Lots of people have it much worse. Millions of people are going to get furloughed this week. So as my friend Sam L, a holocaust survivor says: “If I would complain it would be a sin.”

Photo was taken on Sunday at Brophy High School along the Grand Canal where I was walking with my hiking buddy Mark V who is recovering from knee surgery and can’t yet hike in the mountains.
