Pleasant surprises are the spice of life.

On our tour in Normandy with Country Walkers we had several extremely pleasant surprises. One was on the second day when they they told us in the briefing that we would be walking along some cliffs. Which we did, and it was very nice.

And then we came up a small hill and saw these limestone arches:

What a delight. Made better because it was so unexpected. A big shout out to our guides Corrine and Claire for making the delight work almost every day.
