If I look at a piece of art you can look at the same piece and we both gain. If I eat a piece of cake it is not available for you to eat.
If I share an idea with you we both have the idea. If I share a glass of Runcible Cider with you I don’t have the cider anymore.
If I learn how to scuba dive somebody else didn’t have to forget how to make room for me. But if I get on a crowded scuba boat there might not be room for someone else.
Some things dissipate when shared others multiply.
