We went south on Saturday 12/22 to visit friends and to see the Saguaro National Park. It turned out the park was closed because of the fight about the budget. No big deal the visitor center was closed but the trails and the viewing spots were open. Except they had locked the bathrooms. There is a limit to what we as citizens are willing to put up with. I had to pee in the desert and probably contributed to the extinction of some endangered species.
It reminds me of the Sarcastic Libertarian meme:
