Many years ago there was a pitcher for the Milwaukee Braves (in those days the Braves were in Milwaukee) named Milt Famey.\u00a0 And it seems he liked to have a few Schlitz beers between innings during games just to quench his thirst.<\/p>\n

On one particular hot and humid day, Milt was downing more than normal and it began to affect his performance.\u00a0 He began to start walking batter after batter, until finally, the manager had to yank him from the game.\u00a0 He was drunk and they lost the game.<\/p>\n

In the post game interview when the manager was asked why they lost, He held up a can of beer and said \u201cSchlitz, the beer that made Milt Famey walk em.\u201d<\/p>\n
