{"id":4093,"date":"2011-02-13T10:07:45","date_gmt":"2011-02-13T18:07:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/simonburrow.com\/\/?p=4093"},"modified":"2011-02-13T17:04:11","modified_gmt":"2011-02-14T01:04:11","slug":"the-poster-family-of-the-obama-revolution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/simonburrow.com\/?p=4093","title":{"rendered":"The Poster Family of the Obama Revolution"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Has lost its title.<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>One of my jokes for the last two years has been:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>&#8220;We are the poster family of the Obama revolution&#8230;. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Three generations and nobody is working.&#8221; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But I can&#8217;t say it any more.\u00a0 Rebecca has a job for the next six months with the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).\u00a0 She will be working in Salem with the people who identify and preserve historic bridges.\u00a0 It is the perfect job for her.\u00a0 It is preservation, bridges and West Coast.\u00a0 I am proud and delighted.<\/p>\n<p>Now I have to admit that Lillian has been working as a graduate assistant at UNLV for the last year.\u00a0 It is a really great gig but I was able to discount it as she was primarily a student.\u00a0 She graduates in May and then I will be the only one in the family who doesn&#8217;t have a Masters Degree.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Has lost its title.
