Thomas Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas Stone was a pacifist and a signer of the Declaration of Independence. He felt pushed to favoring war by British intransigence. Frequent\u00a0travel,\u00a0financial worries, and concerns for his wife’s health took a toll on Stone. He died at age 44 and barely lived to see an independent America.
