He wasn&#8217;t the author of the saying but he had copied it by hand and had it taped to the wall of his office. I have subsequently seen it in books and memes. Often it is rephrased: &#8220;A psychologically healthy person sees themselves as they are not the way they want to be.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mural is on 16th street in Phoenix near Highland. There is an excellent coffee shop in the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aivar Lejins, of blessed memory, was an injection molder in the San Gabriel Valley. He made millions of specialty plastic tooth picks for me and we made each other rich.
