{"id":172,"date":"2006-10-11T20:57:49","date_gmt":"2006-10-12T04:57:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/simonburrow.com\/\/archives\/politics\/an-innocent-question"},"modified":"2006-10-11T21:03:45","modified_gmt":"2006-10-12T05:03:45","slug":"an-innocent-question","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/simonburrow.com\/?p=172","title":{"rendered":"An Innocent Question"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On August 11, 2006 the UN Security Council passed resolution 1701 that reads in its third paragraph:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 0.5in\" class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201c<em>Emphasizing<\/em> the need for an end of violence, but at the same time <em>emphasizing<\/em> the need to address urgently the causes that have given rise to the current crisis, including the unconditional release of the abducted Israeli soldiers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 0.5in\" class=\"MsoNormal\">This sounds pretty clear: &#8220;unconditional release&#8221;.
