The tables at my neighborhood Starbucks are back.\u00a0 They were gone because of a “permit renewal issue” and I wrote a blog post<\/strong><\/a> about it, that was pretty scathing, last week.\u00a0 But this morning when I walked Missy the Brave<\/strong><\/a> they had returned.<\/p>\n

Perhaps my blog post helped. More likely it was the intervention of Andy Wilson our local councilperson.<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0 He was very responsive and the desired result was achieved within a few days.<\/p>\n

I’m pleased because I need a place to tie up Missy during our morning walk when I go in to get my coffee. Now I don’t have to cross one more street and switch my allegiance to Peet’s.\u00a0 My faith in the system is restored and my delight in urban living continues.<\/p>\n
