In this scene it is 1730 in central Europe.\u00a0 There are two families huddled on the village green.\u00a0 A man in an official looking uniform is speaking to them \u201cI\u2019m sorry\u201d he says \u201cthe King has ruled that you will not be allowed to settle in the kingdom.\u00a0 You will have to leave.\u201d<\/font><\/p>\n

Should be clearly wrong, ugly but not violent.<\/font><\/p>\n

Scene Two<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 “The SS St Louis Story”<\/font><\/p>\n

The SS St Louis left Nazi Germany with 1000 passengers mostly Jewish women and children.\u00a0 It was bound for Cuba but was denied entry there and then in the USA and other nations.\u00a0 Finally it was forced to return to Europe where hundreds of the passengers died at the hands of the Nazis.\u00a0 <\/font><\/p>\n

There is a independent film about this story.\u00a0 Get one of the survivors to speak.<\/font><\/p>\n

Scene Three<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 “Free to Live”<\/font><\/p>\n

It is Detroit and a black family is being kept from living in an all white suburb.\u00a0 <\/font><\/p>\n

There is an important movie and or book about this story. <\/font><\/p>\n

Scene Four<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 “Dying at Borders”<\/font><\/p>\n

Black Africa.\u00a0 This scene shows the misery of the camps on the Rwanda border.\u00a0 Perhaps with voice over from an aid worker talking about how people were turned back to their deaths.<\/font><\/p>\n

Scene Five<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 “Dying in the Desert”<\/font><\/p>\n

Perhaps a series of interviews with survivors of the US\/Mexico crossing saying how risky the crossing was is and why they attempted it.\u00a0 Show video and stills of the death<\/font><\/p>\n
