Superlative Adjective or Noun: A form that denotes the best. Examples: “The world’s oldest human made canal.” “The Tri-State area’ s largest bowling alley” The mausoleum in the photo is in Trento, Italy. I never tried tp understand what the monument signified. Superlative of the Month

“New York’s second most visited natural attraction.” Years ago we visited “the worlds largest outdoor seated bronze Buddha.” and in a fun filled afternoon with Jacky and Malcolm Andrews we explored the world of superlatives.  Here is a link to that story. Adding the “second most” really does add a new and even sillier set of opportunities. My superlative for SimonBurrow.com could be the “least visited blog by a retired man in Arizona.”

Abundant, Copious, Diverse, Historic, Iconic, Innumerable, Notable,Plentiful, Top-notch, and World-class. All adjectives used in a superlative brochure to describe The Capital Saratoga Region in Upstate New York. I don’t know if you were trying to be funny, but you made me laugh.  Well done.

Spiritual Superlatives

Superlatives are claims to the highest, fastest, largest, oldest etc. We have had a joke for many years about a Bronze Buddha.  If you define the group sharply enough anything is the best at something.  I am “Pasadena’s oldest man born in Coventry, England who had a factory in Mexico.
