We were walking back to the cruise ship from the Tuna carving demonstration and delicious Sushi lunch when suddenly through the clouds when Michelle saw Mt Fuji and I took this photo. It was unexpected serendipity. Which might be redundant since serendipity is by definition unexpected. But you can increase the probability of serendipity greatly by putting yourself in its path.
