The trails in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve are not well marked. For example the VOAZ trail doesn’t start or end at a trailhead. And the irregular trail links the Piestewa Peak trails with the Dreamy Draw trails but not apparently in a regular way. There are not enough signs pointing to the trailheads. On the other hand I can walk to the preserve and hike all day. Life is good.
