Paradox Two

Why SIze Matters for nations: Imagine two high schools. The only thing you know about them is their size. One has 300 pupils and the other has 1200 pupils. Which one do you think will have the better football team? The better debate team? Which one will place better in the state wide robot challenge? The same statistical logic applies to nations. If we want to compete in brains or brawn we need to grow fast.
