On Tatum north of Lincoln in Paradise Valley F.L. Wright designed and supervised the construction of the beautiful Price House. It was built in the early 1950’s as a winter home for the Price family from Oklahoma. They made their money in the oil pipeline business.

One of the last structures that F.L.Wright designed was the Gammage Auditorium at ASU in Tempe. He died before it was completed. The grounds include several fountains that appear to be from the original design.
Frank Lloyd Wright is a big name in 20th century architecture in the the USA and a half dozen or so structures in and around Phoenix were designed by him. I’ve visited three of them and they each have fountains.

The largest fountain in the Biltmore Fashion Square is this beauty between the Macy’s and the Apple Store. It is the one the children play in.
Just down the mall from Phountain #29 , in front of the Chico’s, is this very geometric water feature.
Phabulous Phountain #15 is a fountain in the parking garage next to the Biltmore Fashion Center. #29 is the first of three water features in the mall proper. They are built of polished black stone and in different shapes. This one has the look of a stylized Devils Postpile.
